Luxury Travel Uncovered

I have a genuine obsession with luxury travel and everything that comes with it. Not only the beautiful rooms or impressive restaurants, but also how the seemingly smallest touch can become a lasting memory. It’s the interactions and details teams deliver making each hotel unique that I love uncovering.

My first afternoon tea at The Dorchester gave me a glimpse of how attentive service can elevate an experience. Working in hospitality while studying gave me a further insight into how things come together. After studying French and German at university, I spent nearly a decade living and working in Sydney, travelling across the country and further afield. This was where Luxury Travel Uncovered started to take shape. It also reawakened my love of languages, as I began to practise what I had learned, and to teach myself a bit of Spanish and Italian.

Now I write about, film, and honestly share my experiences. The moments that shine are celebrated, while those that fall short are reviewed truthfully. For each stay I share a short review video, which is part of the wider blog post here on the website. The upcoming Story Behind The Stay is a video interview series going behind the scenes with the people who make a hotel what it is.
